Refund Policy
Last updated: 16 July 2026
Paid Tapback plans are sold through Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, so refunds are issued by Paddle back to your original payment method. The policy below is ours; Paddle executes it.
First purchase: 14 days, no questions
If you buy a plan and change your mind within 14 days, email hello@tapback.party from your account address (or reply to the Paddle receipt) and you get a full refund. You don't need a reason, and usage during those 14 days doesn't disqualify you. This sits alongside — and is broader than — the statutory 14-day cancellation right EU and UK consumers already have.
Renewals
Subscriptions renew annually and Paddle emails a receipt for every charge. If a renewal catches you by surprise, contact us within 14 days of the charge for a full refund; we'll cancel the subscription and your plan drops to Free at the end of the previously paid term.
Cancelling mid-term
You can cancel at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the paid year, then drops to Free — no partial-year refunds outside the 14-day windows above, except where these terms say otherwise (for example, if we retire a feature your plan was sold on, or you reject a change to the terms, the remaining term is refunded pro rata).
What never blocks a refund
- Your data: whether or not you're refunded, export and the static archive remain available, and your bars keep working on the Free plan.
- Asking twice: if you're inside a window above, the answer is yes — you don't have to argue for it.
Disputes
If a charge looks wrong, write to us before disputing it with your card issuer — a refund from us takes days, a chargeback takes weeks and freezes the subscription while it runs. We answer refund mail within two business days.
